I got picked up at the airport just fine; however, I did feel bad that the school principle was waiting for me for over an hour and a half because the flight from Shanghai was delayed. The school put me up in a hotel for the evening because my flat wasn’t ready. Tomorrow, I get to pick up the keys for the flat, my mattress and tour the school. I have to say so far, so good.
But I think I may have been on the flight a little long, lying in bed typing this and I think the bed is
moving a little…and I must say, not such a squishy bed, more like the floor....hhhhummmphhhh…
I actually slept like a rock but that probably has more to do with the fact that I hadn’t slept than the comfortable-ness of the bed. These beds are seriously hard!
My first official meal in Wenzhou, which consisted of rice like soup and veggies (which go in the soup), two dumplings filled with beef and veggies and a hard-boiled egg. All of which was very tasty…shout out to the women cook at the Rest Motel!
Well, I’m off to the first few business needs of the day…
