Monday's are always packed full of fun. This Monday was a little more low key and relaxing than last week. I got some things done at the bank and now I'm able to do some online shopping in China. Things are really cheap on Taobao.com and so, now I have access...and I can check my bank account online. Sweet! :) After the bank, with the assistance of Amber, we were able to get all of this completed fairly painless...I took her to lunch/coffee for a little treat. It was the least I could do to say thanks. After lunch, it was time to wonder around, I found Baliuzhou Park, near my house (actually mom found it on google.com/maps and told me to check it out...even thousands of miles away, I listened!). It's a bit bigger than Franklin Park in Columbus, Ohio and it definitely has more trees and paths winding around it. There is a river that goes right through it and there is some construction around it, some of the paths look very new and the small temple wasn't much but it was relaxing. Overall, the park was nice to walk around, good to know that there is a park so close and now I know where people run...as I haven't seen anyone running on the sidewalk like this crazy American. :) |
