Also, came across what seemed to be a rug factory, as big men (aka men my size) were carrying out large rugs and putting them into a van. A humbling moment came when I saw inside some of these houses; it was no bigger than my bedroom, cement walls and small windows, a water pipe hung out from the wall (their water source) and their door looked to be made out of old wood or stone, dark and dreary inside. It looked big enough for one person, but I’m pretty sure that a family of 3 lived there and that they worked at the rug factory down the way. My mind said holy crap hole, my heart said awwh... : /
The area I came across was definitely old, the buildings were built up around the mountain and you have to walk a lot of stairs to get to some of the houses.
At the end of the day, I found a really cute baby girl being carried on her mother’s back in a basket…so cute!
Fun adventure day.
